Job summary

Businesslist in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Manager, Legal and Compliance to provide strategic guidance to the business and management teams. You will draft, review and negotiate commercial and corporate contracts, and oversee regulatory compliance, governance and legal risk matters.

• Degree in Law and admitted to the Malaysian Bar.
• Experience in contracts, compliance and corporate matters.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Manager, Legal And Compliance should have:

• Degree in Law and admitted to the Malaysian Bar.
• Min. 6 to 10 years of legal experience.

• Exposure to M&A, construction, energy or financing matters.
• Strong drafting, negotiation and analytical skills.
• Able to manage litigation and legal risk matters.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Commercially minded with a solution-oriented approach.
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
