Job summary

Agensi Pekerjaan Executive Recruiters seeks a Senior Legal Lead in Kuala Lumpur to steer major commercial contracts and regulatory compliance across ICT, telecom and infrastructure projects. You will lead contract drafting, vetting and negotiation of high-value agreements and coordinate with external counsel.

You will also oversee governance, company law, PDPA compliance, and dispute resolution strategies, reviewing bilingual contracts in English and Mandarin.

Qualifications

• LL.B. from a reputable university.
• Admission as Advocate & Solicitor in Malaysia is strongly preferred.
• About 10 years in corporate and commercial legal work.
• Exposure to ICT, telecom or large infrastructure projects is an advantage.
• Fluent in legal English and Mandarin, able to review and draft bilingual contracts independently.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, vet and negotiate high-value agreements, including telecom equipment supply contracts, master service agreements, turnkey subcontractor agreements and NDAs.
• Keep the business compliant with MCMC regulations, company law and the PDPA; maintain company secretarial records and uphold governance standards.
• Resolve commercial disputes before litigation and manage external counsel, including contractor claims and debt recovery.
