Job summary

Asiabina Holdings Sdn Bhd is seeking a seasoned legal professional to provide comprehensive legal support across contracts, regulatory matters, licensing, and corporate secretarial work. The role involves drafting and reviewing joint venture and construction contracts, SPAs, and letters of award, and advising on disputes and regulatory inquiries.

• Bachelor’s degree in law from reputable university or equivalent.
• Must be fluent in written and spoken English and Malay.
• Minimum 5 years Corporate and commercial drafting and/or negotiation experience is mandatory.
• Deep understanding of commercial, corporate, and property law.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal support on a wide variety of enquiries and matters, including but not limited to contracts, regulatory, licensing, and corporate secretarial matters
• Review and draft contracts and other company documentation including but not limited to joint venture agreements, construction contracts and letters of award, SPA agreements
• Support the company in managing and resolving legal disputes and regulatory inquiries.
• Monitor legal and regulatory developments that may impact the company and provide timely advice to business teams.
• Conduct legal research as required.
• Provide counsel and support for dispute resolution and prevention, internal investigations, risk assessments, and liability assessments.
• Handle requests from and be a trusted contact for law enforcement and government agencies; provide counsel and support for dispute resolution and prevention; manage external parties, including counterparties, external counsel and experts.
