We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Legal Executive to join our corporate team. The successful candidate will assist in handling the company’s legal, contractual, compliance and documentation matters, while working closely with management and external legal counsel.
Drafting, reviewing and managing agreements, contracts, letters and other legal documents.
Conduct legal research and provide support on corporate and commercial legal matters.
Reviewing contracts and identifying potential legal risks and obligations.
Liaise with external lawyers, government authorities and relevant third parties when required.
Maintain and organise legal documents, agreements and corporate records.
Monitoring contractual obligations, renewal dates and important legal deadlines.
Support the company in matters relating to corporate governance and regulatory compliance.
Laise HR and management on employment-related legal documentation and matters when required.
Prepare legal summaries, reports and documentation for management review.
Perform other legal and administrative duties assigned by the management.
Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent.
Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
Strong interest in corporate and commercial law.
Good legal research, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Knowledge of corporate, commercial, employment or technology-related law.
Internship experience in a law firm or corporate legal department.
Experience in contract drafting or reviewing.
Familiarity with Malaysian laws and regulatory requirements.
