Job summary

NTT DATA SERVICES MALAYSIA SDN. BHD. is seeking a Senior Associate Engineer in Managed Services to contribute to proactive IT operations, incident resolution, and service quality across cross-technology environments.

You will manage queues, handle incidents and requests within SLAs, document actions, coordinate with teams and vendors, and assist in change management and disaster recovery activities in a diverse, inclusive workplace.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT/Computing or equivalent.
• Moderate-level experience in managed services roles handling cross-technology infrastructure.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and experience working with vendors.
• Proficiency in planning activities and projects.
• Ability to work longer hours when necessary and adapt to changing circumstances.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively across cultures and social groups.
• Positive outlook and ability to work well under pressure.
• Commitment to placing clients at the forefront of interactions and ensuring a positive experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and monitor client IT infrastructure and resolve incidents and problems.
• Manage work queues and respond to incidents and requests within SLAs.
• Update tickets with actions taken and document outcomes.
• Collaborate with other teams and vendors for second-line support.
• Execute changes with risk mitigation and contribute to change management.
• Assist in disaster recovery functions and tests when needed.
• Support automation initiatives and drive process improvements.
