Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an experienced Backend Developer to join our IT services team in Kuala Lumpur. The role involves participating in the entire SDLC, from requirements to deployment and support, to deliver robust software solutions.

You will analyse, develop, test, and debug applications with a focus on Java 17+, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and microservices in cloud environments (Azure/AWS/GCP). Salary up to RM 10,000 per month.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, or related discipline.
• Minimum 4 years of hands-on backend development experience.
• Experience with Java 17+, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Microservices, and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP).

Responsibilities

• Participate in all phases of the SDLC from requirements analysis to deployment and support.
• Analyse, develop, test, debug, and implement software applications to meet business requirements.
• Provide post-implementation application support, maintenance, and issue resolution.
• Troubleshoot, optimise, and enhance existing applications to support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate closely with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of project milestones and assigned tasks.
