Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Java software engineer to build enterprise-grade applications for backend, web, and mobile platforms. You will design, implement, test, and maintain solutions that meet architecture and coding standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/SE/IT or related field.
• Fresh graduates with strong Java development experience encouraged.
• Strong knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, J2EE, REST APIs, and OOP/OOD.
• Experience with Spring Framework, Hibernate/JPA, Servlets, and REST/SOAP web services.
• Good SQL with Oracle/DB2/MySQL/PostgreSQL.
• Familiar with Git/GitLab/Jenkins/SonarQube/CI/CD.
• Exposure to Docker/Podman, Kubernetes/OpenShift, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/Huawei).
• Knowledge of monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Able to work in Agile environments and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Develop robust, scalable enterprise applications for backend, web, and mobile platforms.
• Design, implement, test, and maintain software per architecture and standards.
• Manage development tasks and deliver milestones on time.
• Troubleshoot and optimize performance for reliability at scale.
• Develop and integrate REST/SOAP APIs for enterprise integration.
• Collaborate across teams throughout the SDLC using Agile or Waterfall.
• Analyze complex issues and translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Stay current with new technologies and best practices.
