Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an experienced Lead Java Developer to lead the design, development, and improvement of scalable enterprise applications in Selangor.

You will own microservices with Spring Boot, build cloud-native solutions on AWS, and drive API design, CI/CD pipelines, and production support while mentoring teams.

Candidates should have 6+ years of Java experience and a proven track record in leadership, performance tuning, and delivering robust software in on-site environments.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on Java development experience.
• Strong expertise in Java 8/11/17, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
• Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud Services.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, SQL databases, and integration.
• Experience with Git and Maven/Gradle.
• Strong leadership, analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of enterprise Java applications.
• Design and develop scalable microservices using Spring Boot.
• Build, deploy, and maintain cloud-native applications on AWS.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs with backend systems.
• Lead technical design discussions and mentor development teams.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure coding standards and best practices.
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, testing, and deployment.
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and support production applications.
