Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Java Programmer to join our development team in Kuala Lumpur. The role covers end-to-end SDLC activities, from requirements through deployment and maintenance, with emphasis on delivering robust software solutions.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, contribute to technical documentation, and proactively support business users and IT staff to improve project performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Information Technology or related fields.
• Strong hands-on experience in developing and deploying complex software applications using Java 17, React (Next.js), Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring JPA, JWT, OpenAPI, Redis, MariaDB, Docker, Linux.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices will be an advantage.
• Prior experience in government projects will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle, including requirements gathering, analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to complete development or enhancement requests.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of technical documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
• Work closely with business users and IT technicians to identify and implement solutions to enhance project performance.
• Contribute to identification and development of new features and functionalities that meet evolving business needs.
• Provide timely and effective technical support to internal and external stakeholders, resolving inquiries and troubleshooting issues.
