Job summary

Abbott Laboratories in Malaysia is seeking a Manager, IT SAP Support to lead SAP and related business systems support teams, aligning with global IT and business stakeholders to ensure stable, high-performing operations. Travel up to 15% may be required to support international initiatives and deployments.

The role covers SAP production support across S/4HANA, ECC, SD, FI/CO, MM, WM and EDI, with Hypercare for major implementations, team development, budgeting, and regulatory compliance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, Business or related discipline.
• 10 years of IT experience with SAP support, delivery or project management.
• Hands-on SAP experience: S/4HANA, ECC, SD, FI/CO, MM, WM, and EDI.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication across technical and business teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead intake, prioritization, and resolution of SAP production support tickets.
• Ensure services meet SLAs and drive improvements in service quality.
• Manage Hypercare activities for major SAP implementations with readiness and metrics.
• Develop and coach a team of employees and contractors; oversee resource planning and performance.
• Review change requests, risk assessments, outage communications, and performance reporting.
• Manage budgets and ensure IT governance, quality, and regulatory compliance including FDA and GxP.
