Job summary

Abbott seeks a Manager, IT SAP Support to lead SAP production support and related business systems across global operations. You will oversee intake, prioritization, and resolution of SAP tickets, manage Hypercare during major deployments, and partner with stakeholders and the SAP Center of Excellence to ensure service excellence.

This role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of IT/SAP experience, with strong leadership and communication skills. Travel up to 15% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related discipline.
• 10 years of IT experience with increasing responsibility in SAP support, delivery, or project management.
• Hands-on experience supporting SAP environments including S/4HANA, ECC, SD, FI/CO, MM, WM, and EDI.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across technical and business teams.
• Experience in healthcare/pharmaceutical/life sciences is a plus.
• Willingness to travel internationally up to 15%.

Responsibilities

• Lead SAP production support across S/4HANA functional areas and prioritize tickets.
• Ensure services meet SLAs and drive improvements in quality and efficiency.
• Manage Hypercare activities for major SAP implementations, including readiness and exit criteria.
• Build partnerships with stakeholders and the SAP Center of Excellence for operational excellence.
• Lead and develop a team of employees and contractors with resource planning and performance management.
• Review and approve change requests, risk assessments, and outage communications.
• Manage operational budgets and IT governance, including regulatory requirements.
