DXC Technology Malaysia Sdn Bhd in Putrajaya seeks an IT Production Support expert to manage mission-critical systems. You handle alerts, user requests, and debugging, while coordinating with cross-functional teams to align IT solutions with business goals. The role requires deep Linux/Kornshell experience, strong SQL skills, and middleware proficiency (FTP/MQ) with ITIL incident experience. You will participate in scripts projects and ensure data integrity in reconciliation apps.

Qualifications

• Senior level: more than 6 years of experience with Linux and Kornshell scripting as well as SQL and production support.
• Bachelor's or master degree in information technology engineering, or project management field
• Proven experience in shell scripting in a Linux/Unix environment
• Strong proficiency of SQL (Oracle-oriented)
• Understanding middleware technologies such as FTP and MQ messaging systems
• Experience with monitoring tools and incident management systems
• Understanding ITIL framework or similar service management best practices
• Quick learner, capable of rapidly acquiring new technical knowledge
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
• Knowledge of financial market operations is ideal

Responsabilités

• Handle and manage system alerts until resolution and process user requests (analyze and debug)
• Participate in projects and develop, maintain, and optimize scripts and SQL databases, ensuring data integrity of reconciliation applications
• Troubleshoot infrastructure middleware components such as FTP servers and MQ messaging services and correspond with infrastructure providers for fixes or incidents
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align IT solutions with business objectives
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and best practices in finance and technology
