Job summary

KOSSAN Rubber Industries Berhad in Klang, Malaysia is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Specialist to install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot servers, OS, virtualization, storage, backup, and network connectivity.

The role requires hands-on Windows Server, VMware/Hyper-V, Active Directory, and strong problem solving, with responsibilities in incident support, project participation, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or equivalent with at least 3 years of relevant working experience.
• Hands-on experience in Windows Server, VMware, Hyper-V, Active Directory, and server administration.
• Knowledge of networking, storage, backup and disaster recovery, and data centre infrastructure.
• Experience in setting up and troubleshooting desktops, laptops, printers, software, and other end-user IT equipment.
• Relevant Microsoft or VMware certifications will be an advantage.
• Good problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a proactive and service-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot physical and virtual servers, operating systems, and infrastructure services.
• Monitor and maintain server performance, virtualization platforms, storage, backup systems, and network connectivity.
• Provide technical support for end-user devices, software, email, and other IT-related issues.
• Perform system updates, security patches, preventive maintenance, backup, and recovery activities.
• Participate in IT infrastructure projects, system upgrades, and improvements.
• Manage IT assets, helpdesk tickets, vendor coordination, and technical documentation.
• Support AI server hardware and perform first-level troubleshooting when required.
