Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking an Assistant Section Head, Inventory Management in Klang City, Malaysia. You will oversee the team handling all goods, ensure accuracy of records, and drive improvements in storage and inventory processes.

The role requires hands-on leadership, the ability to train and coach team members, and proficiency in Excel and inventory systems to maintain orderly, compliant operations.

Qualifications

• 8 years of relevant experience in warehouse manufacturing and/or inventory management.
• Hands-on, proactive and able to manage tasks systematically.
• Competent in Microsoft Excel and familiar with inventory management system.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the team in handling all incoming and outgoing goods in accordance with Company procedures.
• Assist in recruitment, training, coaching and development of new team members.
• Manage the inventory system by ensuring records are updated and documentation maintained.
• Review and continuously recommend improvements to storage and inventory management systems.
• Ensure timely reconciliation of physical stock against system records and investigate discrepancies.
