Job summary

Doctor Anywhere is seeking a Senior Executive, Inpatient Claims to manage the full lifecycle of inpatient claims—from registration to settlement. You will be the main contact for policyholders, providers and insurers, requiring strong judgement and clear communication in high-pressure situations.

Based in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia, the role supports Singapore claims processing and involves collaborating with a dynamic Operations team to ensure smooth member experiences during stressful times.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of claims processing experience in Singapore with an insurer, third-party administrator (TPA) or healthcare provider, preferably handling inpatient claims.
• Strong analytical skills and sound judgement in assessing claims and spotting irregularities.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the confidence to handle difficult conversations professionally.
• Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets, plus the ability to manage a high caseload under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Handle administrative functions in the Claims Department including claims registration, processing, reminder letters and settlement letters.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders (policyholders, claimants, doctors, nurses, insurers) to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Investigate, evaluate and settle claims efficiently and timely, identifying questionable claims.
• Ensure claims are assessed per policy terms & benefits and settled within turnaround times.
• Follow up on pending claims and adhere to SOPs.
• Participate in ad-hoc projects or duties when required.
