Job summary

Atlas Copco in Shah Alam, Malaysia seeks a Senior Sales Engineer/Sales Manager to drive growth by leveraging technical expertise and deep understanding of customer needs. You will report to the Business Line Manager and collaborate with engineering and product teams to implement sales strategies.

You will build strong relationships with customers and distributors, pursue leads, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure orders are executed efficiently.

Qualifications

• Five years' experience in industrial machinery sales.
• Proficient in English; excellent communication skills.
• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred.

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales targets within the designated sector and territory.
• Pursue leads, promote products, and finalize orders.
• Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate sales orders.
• Provide feedback and submit market intelligence reports.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and distributors.
• Support promotion of Oil-free Air range when possible.
• Maintain a customer-centric approach delivering energy-efficient solutions.
• Use tools like AirScan, iTrack, and SmartLink to identify replacement opportunities.
• Update C4C CRM with account details, visits, leads, opportunities, and installed base data.
• Support campaigns and prepare application stories for these segments.
• Undertake ad-hoc projects as directed by the Business Line Manager.
