Job summary

Huawei Technologies (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd is seeking a Technical Training Specialist to deliver and manage telecom training for local staff, partners and customers. You will plan, conduct courses and tests while ensuring training effectiveness and satisfaction.

The role involves creating a regional training database, developing trainer resources, maintaining equipment, and delivering remote online training across time zones. A 1-year renewable contract is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), IT, Computer Science or equivalent.
• More than 3 years of telecom experience with technical training experience (IMS Core network).
• Understand responsibilities and assessment standards of a technical trainer.
• Familiar with customer, cooperator and staff training, learning service and talent management processes.
• Good knowledge of current telecom networks, Huawei products and international standards.
• Extensive global travel required (subject to pandemic).
• Remote online training delivery according to customers' time zones and working days.
• 1 year renewable contract.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical training to Huawei local staff, cooperators and customers, including planning, conducting courses and tests.
• Ensure training effectiveness (training plan, teaching delivery).
• Set up regional training database (materials, slides, tests) to meet local needs.
• Train part-time trainers and build trainer resources.
• Maintain training equipment to ensure proper operation.
• Participate in onsite/online training to ensure quality and trainee satisfaction.

Job description

· Responsible for providing technical training to Huawei local staffs, cooperators and customers. This include planning, conducting courses and test of the trainees.

· Directly responsible for training effect (training plan, teaching implementation).

· Set up regional training database (including training material, training slides, test questions and other related material) to meet the training needs of the local staff, cooperators and customers (training database construction).

· Training of part-time trainers (trainer resources construction).

· Maintain training equipment to ensure normal operation of the training equipment (training property management).

· Participate in customer onsite/online training by local engineers to ensure onsite training’s quality and trainees’ satisfaction (onsite/online training).

REQUIREMENT:

· Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree inEngineering (Computer/Telecommunication), IT, Computer Science or equivalent

· With more than 3 years working experience in the Telecommunication field and with technical training experience (IMS Core network)

· Understand responsibilities and assessment standards of technical trainer

· Familiar with customer, cooperator and staff training, learning service and talent management processes

· Good knowledge in current telecommunication network, Huawei products and telecommunication international standards

· Extensive global travel required (subject to global pandemic situation)

· Remote online training delivery according to customers’ time zone and working days.
