Job summary

Huawei Technologies (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd is seeking an entry-level Network Engineer to support Datacom and Access equipment operations.

You will configure systems, conduct end-to-end and interoperability tests with operators and customers, and maintain live networks while troubleshooting issues. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, Electrical, or related field, with 1–2 years of industry experience or fresh graduates welcome.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in telecommunications/related field.
• 1–2 years industry experience; fresh graduates welcome.
• Strong knowledge of IP/Transmission networks and Huawei equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Handle Datacom and Access equipment operations.
• Perform system configuration, testing, and end-to-end/interoperability testing with operators/customers.
• Maintain live networks and troubleshoot problems.
• Plan and implement network design, migrations, and MoP for live networks.
• Engage with marketing/project teams and customers to promote and deliver services.

Job description

Handled Datacom Equipment and Access Equipment.

Perform system configuration and testing, end-to-end integration testing and interoperability test with operators and/or customers

Maintenance live network and troubleshooting network problem

Prepare network design for implementation and MoP for live network work.

Responsible to plan, implement, integrate, migrate, and perform acceptance test for Network Products - IP Datacom, Access network.

To analyze network performance, resolve complex network problem, and optimize network architecture.

As technical point of contact, e.g. engineering team, customer, and vendor.

To engage directly with marketing team, project team, and customer for the purpose of promoting and delivering strategic services.

Job Requirement :

Bachelor's degree or above majoring in Telecommunications, Electronics, Electrical, or related area.

Have strong knowledge about telecom communication and with 1 to 2 years experienced in the industry. Fresh Graduate are also welcome to apply.

Good technical knowledge of IP/Transmission network, Experience with Huawei IP/Optical/Microware equipment (Router, Lanswitch, OSN Series, RTN Series) will be added in advantage.

Excellent trouble shooting and problem-solving skills.

Outstanding communication skills and able to liaise with all levels of internal and external customers and personnel.

Candidate with HCNP, HCNA, HCIE certificate will be added advantage.
