Job summary

Broadcom is seeking a Senior IC Design Manager in Penang to lead a high-performing team responsible for end-to-end development of Motion Control Sensor ASICs. You will oversee architecture, design, and lifecycle execution, driving ownership from tape-out through customer trials and field issue resolution.

The role requires 15+ years in the field with at least 5 years in technical management, and deep ASIC process-flow expertise with experience in top EDA tools and foundry processes.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of relevant experience with at least 5 years in technical management.
• Deep expertise in ASIC process flow for Analog, Digital and Layout Design.
• Experience with industry-standard EDA tools (Cadence, Synopsys or Mentor).
• Experience in foundry fabrication process and Electrical Wafer Sort.

Responsibilities

• Lead a high-performing team of IC Design Engineers in end-to-end development of Motion Control Sensor ASICs.
• Oversee technical architecture, design development, people mgmt, and full lifecycle project execution.
• Own ASIC deliverables including customer trials, field issues and product sustainability.
• Collaborate with Optics, Magnetic, Mechanical, Electrical and Manufacturing engineers across departments.
