Job summary

Private Advertiser in Penang is building a new Engineering Design Centre and seeks a senior engineer to lead analog, mixed-signal and power electronics design.

You will develop sensor interfaces, ADC/DAC, DC-DC converters and power management, apply SPICE for validation, and guide PCB layouts with OrCAD, Cadence or Altium.

Strong collaboration with international teams, travel overseas may be required, and PhD candidates with less industry experience may be considered.

Qualifications

• Strong analog, mixed-signal and power electronics design and verification.
• Expertise in sensor interfaces, ADC/DAC and power management.
• Proficient in SPICE simulation, EMC/EMI design and troubleshooting.
• Able to define PCB layout guidelines and work with major EDA tools.
• Knowledge of EMC, safety and environmental compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, design and development of analog, mixed-signal & power electronics.
• Drive product development from concept through manufacturing transition.
• Collaborate with global customers, suppliers and multidisciplinary teams.
• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert and technical leader.
