Job summary

Hong Leong Industries Berhad is seeking an experienced HR & Payroll Executive to support end-to-end HR operations and payroll across the Group. You will manage onboarding, records, payroll processing, statutory submissions, HRIS data, and office administration.

The role offers exposure to policy compliance, audits, system enhancements, and cross-functional projects within a dynamic corporate environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in HR operations and payroll administration.
• Familiar with Malaysian employment legislation and payroll statutory requirements.
• Experience handling payroll independently preferred.
• Knowledge of HRMS and payroll systems is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage HR operational activities including onboarding, confirmation, employee transfers, and offboarding.
• Maintain accurate employee records, HR documentation, and HRMS data.
• Prepare HR letters and employment-related documents.
• Administer employee benefits, leave management, attendance records, and other HR processes.
• Process monthly payroll accurately and ensure timely statutory submissions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB, HRDF).
• Handle payroll reports, reconciliations, employee payroll enquiries, and year-end payroll activities.
• Support HR audits and ensure compliance with labour laws and internal policies.
• Assist with HRMS enhancement and system implementation activities, including data validation, testing, and user support.
• Coordinate recruitment administrative activities when required.
• Oversee general office administration, facilities coordination, vendor management, and office upkeep.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and other HR projects.
