Job summary

Hong Leong Industries Berhad (HLI) is seeking an experienced HR, Payroll and Admin Executive to support end-to-end HR operations and payroll across the Group’s companies. You will manage onboarding, records, payroll processing, HRIS data, and office administration in a dynamic corporate environment.

The role requires a Diploma or Bachelor’s in HR/BA, 5 years of HR/payroll experience, knowledge of Malaysian employment law, and the ability to handle payroll independently.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in HR operations and payroll administration.
• Familiar with Malaysian employment legislation and payroll statutory requirements.
• Experience handling payroll independently is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of HRMS and payroll systems will be an added advantage.
• Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage HR operational activities including onboarding, confirmation, employee transfers, and offboarding.
• Maintain accurate employee records, HR documentation, and HRMS data.
• Prepare HR letters and employment-related documents in accordance with company policies.
• Administer employee benefits, leave management, attendance records, and other HR processes.
• Process monthly payroll accurately and ensure timely statutory submissions, including EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB, and HRDF.
• Handle payroll reports, reconciliations, employee payroll enquiries, and year-end payroll activities.
• Support HR audits and ensure compliance with labour laws and internal policies.
• Assist with HRMS enhancement and system implementation activities, including data validation, testing, and user support.
• Coordinate recruitment administrative activities when required.
• Oversee general office administration, facilities coordination, vendor management, and office upkeep.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and other HR projects assigned by management.
