Job summary

Y-Axis is seeking an HR Generalist for a fully remote role based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. You will assist in designing job descriptions, refining recruitment processes, and ensuring compliance with local regulations.

The position involves onboarding/offboarding, payroll processing, and managing employee benefits and welfare programs. The role requires handling HR policies, audits (ISO, PCI DSS), and maintaining employment records while supporting retention initiatives and training programs.

Qualifications

• Design job descriptions for vacancies and map the relevant competencies.
• Refine and create processes, bringing in best practices in recruiting, hiring and onboarding, creating efficient measurements for tracking and driving continual improvement.
• Ensure all hiring policies and procedures (i.e. any legal and regulatory requirements) are adhered to.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain employment files with all required documentation per local regulations, and ensure HR compliance during internal and external audits, including ISO audits and PCI DSS standards.
• Process and manage the monthly payroll, including all statutory submissions, and oversee employee welfare and benefits systems such as medical insurance, provident funds, and social security contributions.
