Job summary

Sunningdale Tech Penang Sdn Bhd seeks an HR professional to support the HR Manager in executing strategic and operational HR functions, with emphasis on talent acquisition, learning and development, workforce administration, and compliance.

The role covers end-to-end recruitment, training coordination, foreign worker/expatriate administration, payroll reviews, statutory submissions, and HR reporting to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in HRM/Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant Human Resources experience.
• Experience in recruitment, training & development, and foreign worker/expatriate administration.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, HR systems, and HR reporting with strong analytical skills.
• Good communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the HR Manager in executing strategic and operational HR functions, including talent acquisition, learning and development, workforce administration, and compliance.
• Manage full recruitment cycle: sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, onboarding, and confirmation.
• Plan, coordinate, and administer training initiatives, records, and HRD Corp claims/grants.
• Partner with department heads on workforce planning and manpower requirements.
• Manage foreign worker and expatriate processes including quota applications, work permits, renewals, and compliance.
• Provide guidance to HR Administration and Payroll to ensure smooth HR operations.
• Review payroll, statutory submissions, and employee records for accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare monthly/annual HR reports and submit statutory returns (Form E, CP8D).
• Administer employee benefits programs, including group insurance, renewals, enrollment, claims, SOCSO, and compensation matters.
• Handle employee relations, grievances, disciplinary actions, and engagement initiatives.
