Job summary

NCL ENERGY SDN BHD is seeking a hands-on Senior HR Executive to support HR across the head office, construction and data centre project sites, as well as manufacturing operations. You will handle recruitment, payroll coordination, employee relations, and performance management in a fast-paced, project-based environment.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma or Degree in HR/Business Admin with 4–6 years of relevant experience, preferably in Construction, EPC, Data Centre, M&E or Manufacturing

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of HR experience.
• Experience in Construction/EPC/Data Centre/Manufacturing industries is an advantage.
• Experience with payroll, attendance and statutory requirements is preferred.

Job description

We are looking for a hands‑on and experienced Senior HR Executive to support the full spectrum of HR functions across our head office, construction and data centre project sites, as well as manufacturing operations. This role will be involved in recruitment, manpower planning, payroll coordination, employee relations, performance management, training, statutory compliance, foreign worker and expatriate matters, HR administration and day‑to‑day employee support. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in a fast‑paced, project‑based environment and able to coordinate closely with management, department heads and project teams.

Key responsibilities

Handle the full spectrum of Human Resources functions and support daily HR operations.

Manage end‑to‑end recruitment for office, engineering, project site, data centre, technical and manufacturing positions.

Coordinate manpower planning with department heads and project teams based on business and project requirements.

Handle onboarding, orientation, probation confirmation, transfer, promotion, resignation and off‑boarding processes.

Support monthly payroll preparation including attendance, overtime, allowances, leave, deductions and employee changes.

Manage and monitor EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB and other statutory matters.

Maintain employee records, HR system data, personal files and HR documentation.

Handle employee relations matters including attendance issues, disciplinary cases, show cause letters, warning letters, grievances and Performance Improvement Plans where required.

Coordinate annual KPI and performance appraisal exercises, salary review, promotion and bonus processes.

Support training and development programmes, internal training coordination and employee competency records.

About you

Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or related field.

Minimum 4–6 years of relevant HR experience.

Candidates with experience in Construction, EPC, Data Centre, M&E, Engineering or Manufacturing industries will have an added advantage.

Preferably experienced in handling full‑spectrum HR functions.

Good knowledge of Malaysian Employment Act, labour practices and statutory requirements.

Experience in recruitment for engineering, technical or project‑based positions will be an advantage.

Experience in foreign worker or expatriate management will be an advantage.

Familiar with payroll, attendance and HRIS systems.

Good interpersonal, communication and coordination skills.

Able to handle confidential and sensitive employee matters professionally.
