Job summary

The role covers full lifecycle HR, policy development, training, and compensation administration in a manufacturing/automation environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–7 years of progressive HR experience in a senior/executive role.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian labour laws and statutory compliance.
• Experience in employee relations, recruitment, talent management and performance management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across all levels.
• Strong organizational and project management capabilities with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in HR systems and MS Office applications.

About the role
We are seeking a Senior HR Executive to join Estek Automation Sdn Bhd in Batu Kawan, Penang on a full-time basis. This is a strategic position within our Human Resources department, responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive HR initiatives that support the organisation's growth and operational excellence. As a Senior HR Executive, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our company culture, managing employee relations, and ensuring compliance with HR best practices and regulatory requirements. Your expertise in HR consulting and generalist functions will be integral to driving our business objectives and fostering a positive workplace environment.

What you'll be doing

Develop and execute HR strategies and policies that align with company objectives and support business growth

Manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and offboarding

Oversee employee relations matters, addressing grievances, disciplinary issues, and workplace conflicts with professionalism and discretion

Design and coordinate training and development programmes to enhance employee skills and career progression

Manage compensation and benefits administration, ensuring competitive packages and compliance with statutory requirements

Ensure adherence to labour laws, employment regulations, and company policies across all HR operations

Conduct workforce planning and analysis to support organisational staffing needs and talent acquisition

Collaborate with line managers to provide HR guidance on operational matters and employee performance issues

Maintain accurate HR records and databases, generating reports for senior management review

Foster a positive workplace culture and support employee engagement initiatives

What we're looking for

Minimum 5-7 years of progressive HR experience in a senior or executive capacity

Strong knowledge of Malaysian labour laws, employment regulations, and statutory compliance requirements

Proven experience in employee relations, recruitment, talent management, and performance management

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with employees at all levels

Strong organisational and project management capabilities with attention to detail

Proficiency in HR systems and Microsoft Office applications

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Experience in manufacturing or automation industries is advantageous
