Job summary

Hirehub Group in Iskandar Puteri is seeking a Senior HR (Employee Relations) to lead day-to-day ER matters, handle grievances, and advise managers on conduct and performance.

You will conduct investigations, support Domestic Inquiry, and ensure fair application of HR policies while protecting confidentiality. Mandarin proficiency and experience in manufacturing environments are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in HR, Business Administration, Psychology, Law or related field.
• 5–8 years HR experience with strong ER exposure.
• Experience in manufacturing, engineering, construction or industrial environments preferred.
• Strong experience in employee grievance, disciplinary management, workplace investigations.
• Domestic Inquiry, conflict resolution, employee counselling, performance and attendance issues.
• Excellent knowledge of Malaysian employment laws and HR practices.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies and disciplinary procedures.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Mandarin speaking and writing proficiency.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS/HRMS.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day Employee Relations matters across the organisation.
• Handle grievances, complaints, conflicts and workplace concerns professionally.
• Manage disciplinary matters including investigations, show-cause letters, warnings and termination cases.
• Conduct investigations and fact-finding to resolve issues.
• Coordinate and support Domestic Inquiry processes when required.
• Advise managers on employee conduct, performance, attendance and behavioural issues.
• Ensure fair application of HR policies and disciplinary guidelines.
• Identify ER issues and recommend preventive and corrective actions.
• Mediate and resolve workplace conflicts between employees or departments.
• Support managers in difficult conversations and sensitive people matters.
• Monitor ER trends, absenteeism and disciplinary cases.
• Prepare ER reports, case summaries and management recommendations.
