Job summary

Publicis Groupe in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Manager, HR Business Partner to align people priorities with business objectives across designated units. You will partner with the Associate Director, HRBP, business leaders, Finance and the broader HR team with a strong focus on workforce planning, people cost management, analytics and day-to-day HR business partnering.

Responsibilities include partnering on restructuring and headcount planning, supporting monthly closes, and delivering people cost

Qualifications

• Degree in HR, Business or related discipline.
• 6–8 years of relevant HR experience, preferably within an HRBP environment.
• Strong analytical and numerical capability with hands-on experience in people cost, headcount or workforce planning.
• Strong Excel skills and comfortable working with large datasets, reconciliations and multiple trackers.
• Strong PowerPoint and presentation skills with experience preparing management reports or analytics decks.
• Good understanding of HR practices and Malaysian employment legislation.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work within tight monthly reporting and closing timelines.
• Good stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Associate Director, HRBP and business leaders on day-to-day HR matters across assigned business units. Provide guidance and input on business unit restructuring, workforce planning and succession planning, using data trends and people metrics to support informed decisions.
• Support workforce planning, headcount management and organisational changes.
• Partner with Business Leads, Finance and Talent Acquisition to provide realistic headcount (HC) and people cost (PC) projections.
• Work closely with HR Operations to ensure new hires, leavers and employee movements are accurately captured.
• Maintain and update the People Cost Tracker (PCT), ensuring accurate HC and PC data.
• Support monthly closing, reconciliation, forecasting and analysis of people costs.
• Prepare people cost and workforce analytics, including Excel analysis and management reporting/decks.
• Support performance management, talent reviews, succession planning and employee engagement initiatives.
• Work closely with Management and HRBP to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
• Provide HR guidance to managers on employee relations, performance management and company policies.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition and business leaders on hiring requirements and headcount planning.
• Work closely with HR Operations on employee movements, including new hires, transfers and leavers.
• Support other HR projects and initiatives as required.
