Job summary

Bo Le Associates is helping a US-based multinational to recruit a Manager, HR Business Partner based in Malaysia. The role covers HRBP duties across Malaysia, the Philippines, and Singapore, reporting to the Regional HR Director.

• 10+ years of broad human resources generalist and operations experience.
• Experience managing budgeting for HR & Admin activities.
• Solid FMCG/retail experience in an MNC environment.
• Multi-market HR operations across Malaysia, Philippines, and Singapore.
• Fluency in English is a MUST; Chinese proficiency is a plus.

Job description

Our client is a US based multinational company in consumer products sector. Currently, our client is looking for a HR business partner to fill the Manager, HR Business Partner position to be based in Malaysia.

Report directly to the Regional HR Director, the successful candidate should be a reliable, hands-on HR Generalist with strong HR Business Partnering skills to manage day-to-day HR operations across Malaysia, Philippines, and Singapore. This is an independent HRBP role for a stable professional who possesses the self-initiative to deliver results and get the job done with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

• HR Business Partnering: Partner closely with line managers on day-to-day people matters, job scope requirements, and localized headcount tracking.
• Talent Acquisition & Onboarding: Handle end-to-end recruitment, from candidate sourcing and job evaluations to structuring competitive employment offers.
• Performance & Pay Administration: Execution of the annual Performance Development Process (PDP), pay reviews, and employee promotions under regional guidance.
• Talent Review & Training: Assist managers with training needs analysis and facilitate talent reviews to support employee retention and development.
• Culture & Engagement Operations: Lead the local culture committee to organize employee recognition, communication programs, and engagement events.
• Compliance & HR Advisory: Act as the local subject matter expert on employment legislation and market practices to ensure workplace compliance.

What We Are Looking For:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field with 10+ years of broad human resources generalist and operations experience.
• Proven ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage workflows under minimal supervision.
• HR Business Partner with stable track record and hands-on experience in managing HR & Admin related budgeting and cost control.
• Solid experience from FMCG or Retail sector from a MNC environment
• Multi-market experience in supporting HR operations across Malaysia, Philippines, or Singapore markets is an advantage
• Fluency in English is a MUST while proficiency in Chinese is a plus
