Job summary

Hilton seeks a Chief Engineer to lead maintenance of hotel buildings, grounds and contents, ensuring safe operation of all plant and equipment in line with Hilton policies.

The role requires extensive experience in hotel/building services, strong English, and the ability to train and supervise an Engineering Team, while coordinating with the DOE to run the department efficiently and maintain energy-saving initiatives.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent in an engineering field.
• Proficient in English to meet business needs.
• Minimum of 10 years in hotel/building services or related engineering fields.
• At least 3 years as Chief Engineer or 5 years as Assistant Chief Engineer in a 5-star hotel.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute a broad range of engineering, management and maintenance work.
• Assist the Director of Engineering to run the department efficiently.
• Schedule duties and ensure smooth transitions of duty rosters.
• Lead the Engineering store management and energy-saving initiatives.
• Supervise M&E systems, equipment repair and maintenance.
• Coordinate training for Engineering team members.
• Ensure hotel property maintenance and safety standards are met.
• Drive energy conservation and environmental protection measures.
