Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Engineering is required.
• Minimum 2–3 years' experience in general building maintenance, construction, or hotel engineering.
• Relevant professional certification or license, where required by law.
• Hotel or hospitality engineering experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of building systems, including electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and plumbing.
• Fluent English required; other languages an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Engineering in staffing, assigning work, and monitoring team performance.
• Help train engineering staff to comply with regulations and ensure availability of tools and equipment.
• Coordinate with other departments to communicate maintenance needs across the hotel.
• Support annual budget preparation and monitor expenses with a focus on energy management and preventive maintenance.
• Assist in leading hotel renovations and other projects within budget and timelines.
• May serve as manager on duty and perform other duties as assigned.
