Hilton in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Senior Engineer to lead daily engineering operations during pre-opening and in ongoing hotel operations. You will ensure building systems operate safely, efficiently, and in line with Hilton standards, supervising a team of engineers and technicians.

The role requires strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and safety systems, plus hands-on maintenance, coordination with contractors, and adherence to local regulations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a similar role or 5+ years in a supervisory position within a hotel.
• Strong knowledge of hotel electrical, mechanical, and engineering systems.
• Skilled in equipment maintenance, safety standards, and energy management.
• Proven leadership, team supervision, and contractor coordination experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily shift engineering operations and attend to all maintenance requests and breakdowns.
• Ensure HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and life safety systems operate efficiently.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance and corrective works according to schedules.
• Supervise Duty Engineers and Technicians on shift.
• Support testing, commissioning, and snag list clearance during pre-opening.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, local regulations, and brand requirements.
