Columbia Asia Hospital - Taiping, Malaysia, seeks an experienced Engineering & Maintenance Manager to oversee hospital plant, equipment, safety and regulatory compliance. You will manage engineering, maintenance, and related services to ensure uninterrupted hospital operations.

The role requires a Diploma in Engineering (Degree preferred), CHFM certification, and over 10 years in Maintenance and Engineering with 3+ years in management, plus strong English and Bahasa Malaysia communication and

Diploma in Engineering is required; a degree is preferred.
Certified Healthcare Facility Manager (CHFM) is required/advantageous.
Experience: 10+ years in Maintenance/Engineering with 3+ years in management.
Communications in English and Bahasa Malaysia is essential.

Responsibilities

Oversee hospital plant, equipment, engineering, maintenance and safety.
Manage Housekeeping, Security, Linen, PA systems, Medical Gases, and related maintenance.
Develop and manage departmental budget, and monitor variances.
Plan, supervise, and document maintenance, renovations and new construction.
Establish preventive maintenance schedules to minimize disruption.
Coordinate with authorities for necessary certificates and safety compliance.
Supervise contractors and manage servicing contracts.
Develop QA programs and staff training to ensure competency.
Ensure environment safety and fire safety compliance.
