Job summary

KPJ Healthcare is seeking an experienced Healthcare Facility Engineer to support hospital operations and maintenance. The role focuses on planning preventive maintenance, managing assets and budgets, and ensuring safety compliance across mechanical, electrical, and civil systems.

The candidate should have an engineering degree and at least five years in facilities/building management, with strong project management and communication skills in Malay and English.

Qualifications

• A good degree from recognized university, preferably majoring in Mechanical / Electrical / Civil / Electronic or others Engineering.
• At least 5 years’ experience in Facilities / Building Management System.
• Knowledge in Project Management.
• Ability to work independently, self motivated and result oriented.
• Good written and communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia & English.
• Certifications: CHFM, REEM, CEM, CepSTPO, AP, LPG advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist management to ensure IT-related equipment and systems are in good condition for daily operations.
• Implement preventive maintenance for mechanical, electrical, or civil systems of buildings.
• Plan yearly preventive maintenance schedules and major service requirements.
• Provide technical advice to project teams for enhancements or upgrades.
• Manage and upgrade asset inventory; control stock and spare parts procurement.
• Plan and monitor the annual department budget and supervise staff.
