Columbia Asia Hospital - Klang is seeking a Biomedical Equipment Maintenance Technician to provide preventive and corrective maintenance for medical devices across the facility. You will perform calibration, troubleshoot faults, and maintain an up-to-date equipment database, while coordinating with vendors for repairs and testing.

Provide preventive maintenance and corrective measure for all medical equipment in the hospital.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide maintenance service for all equipments available in the facility.
Provide technical feedback and troubleshooting for all equipments at the facility.
Maintenance and servicing which includes authorize repair and calibration for all equipment with electronic devices, anaesthesia equipment's, patient's monitoring equipment and oxygen therapy system (Repairs and calibration shall accordance with manufacturer's recommendation).
Develop and conduct a detailed inventory and keep track of equipment database available in the hospital
Carry out technical assessment of all equipment, inspection of operating condition, protocols and preventive maintenance requirements for all devices.
Estimate maintenance budget for 3-6 months period - including replacement parts.
Handle all equipment acceptance testing and commissioning. This will include entry into the central medical equipment database, end-user training and installation.
Communicate and coordinate any works carry out by vendor or outside contractor.
Reporting:
Create pre-schedule maintenance for all equipment in accordance to manufacturer’s recommendation.
Create labelling system for notification of next service interval.
Monthly report on breakdown calls and machine breakdown.
Keep data, record and history of each equipment performance and history.
Forward proposal to improve machine efficiency.
Engineer to provide full recommendation for BER if situation arises.
Education and Requirement:
Relevant Diploma/ Degree in Bio-Medical field.
Minimum 5 years Hospital experience.
