Job summary

Doctors Hospital Cayman seeks a Senior HIS Developer to design, build, and maintain clinical applications within the hospital information system ecosystem, collaborating with leadership to deploy new hospital software strategies.

The role requires extensive experience with .NET, C#, C/C++, SQL databases and UI development on UNIX/Linux platforms, plus integration of HL7/EDI/DICOM and third-party services. Travel is local to facilities as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Information Technology or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum five (5) years as a developer with .NET, C#, C/C++ and SQL databases.
• Three (3) years of modern UI development with HTML5, Angular and TypeScript.

Responsibilities

• Develop OpenVMS based MedWorxs/STAT suite of hospital applications.
• Develop on UNIX/Linux OS (OpenVMS, BSD, Linux).
• Create APIs to connect to MedWorxs RMS databases and HL7/EDI/DICOM platforms.
• Develop UI/UX client-side technologies using .NET, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Angular, Vue.js, etc.
• Mentor peers and coordinate with team to deliver end-to-end solutions.
