Job summary

Doctors Hospital Cayman is seeking an EHR Clinical Systems Analyst to bridge clinical, administrative and IT teams, optimizing EHR and HIS platforms (Luminas-MedWorxs and related systems) to improve workflows, documentation, and billing accuracy.

You will analyze and redesign processes, configure templates, support data integrity, and ensure HIPAA, DPL, and GDPR compliance, while training staff and collaborating with vendors on upgrades and interfaces.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a clinical system or EHR analyst role.
• Experience with major EHR platforms (Cerner, Meditech, Epic, MedSphere, ECW or similar).
• Knowledge of clinical workflows and hospital department functions.
• Proficient in Excel and reporting.
• Familiarity with HIPAA, GDPR, and Cayman Islands DPL.
• Experience configuring EHR templates, forms, and interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, maintain and optimize clinical and billing workflows across EHR and HIS.
• Collaborate with clinicians, billing staff, and IT to implement improvements.
• Configure and support EHR templates, forms, and user interfaces.
• Conduct privacy reviews and data audits to meet data protection standards.
• Provide training and certification programs for staff and end users.
• Act as SME for MedWorxs and related clinical applications and provide escalation support.
• Ensure data accuracy and security across integrated systems.
• Develop system and workflow documentation and SOPs.
• Test and support system changes and new module rollouts.
• Monitor system performance, user access, and audit logs.
• Prepare reports and dashboards for clinical operations and revenue cycle management.
• Assist in policy development related to clinical data usage.
