Job summary

KPJ Healthcare Berhad is seeking a Project Manager to oversee the implementation of a new Hospital Information System (HIS) across its hospital network. You will translate strategic direction into coordinated execution, managing timelines, budgets, risks, and stakeholder communications while supporting the Project Director.

The ideal candidate has deep healthcare IT project management experience, strong planning and reporting skills, and proficiency with change management and PM methodologies

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, project management, or related field.
• 15 years’ experience in Healthcare IT project management.
• Experience in planning, monitoring, and controlling projects/programs.
• Knowledge of Change Management principles and implementation.
• Knowledge of program/project management methodologies (PMP, Prince2).
• Ability to control costs and manage project resources.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive project plans with objectives, timelines, resources, and budgeting.
• Coordinate activities to ensure timely completion within scope and budget.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Support integration between clinical, technical, and operational workstreams.
• Highlight resource conflicts or allocation gaps and resolve.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations throughout the project lifecycle.
