Job summary

Fugro Malaysia Marine is seeking a Senior Geophysicist to join the Remote Operations Centre. You will oversee quality control during geophysical data acquisition and interpret survey data to deliver customised results for clients.

The role requires coordination with offshore teams, client representatives and technical leads, along with mentoring junior staff and contributing to tender input.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Geoscience (Geology or Geophysics); offshore survey experience.
• Proficient with interpretation and data processing software: SeaView, Uniseis, Oasis Montaj, ArcGIS Pro, IHS Kingdom.
• Strong English communication; mentor junior Geophysicists.

Responsibilities

• Quality control of geophysical data acquisition and interpretation.
• Coordinate with offshore survey teams and clients to ensure project delivery.
• Develop solutions by contextualising acquired data for clients.
• Lead and train geophysical staff at the ROC during data acquisition.
