Dialog Group Berhad is seeking a Senior Geophysicist to lead high-end geophysical interpretation across BD screening, TFS, FDAP/FDP and FID decisions. The role integrates seismic, well, and geological data to build robust reservoir models and quantify uncertainties.

The successful candidate will coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize development concepts, well trajectories, and development plans, while ensuring rigorous technical assurance and contractor oversight.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s in Geophysics or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Experience: 15+ years in upstream geophysics with field development focus.
• Track record: Delivered integrated FDP/FDAP in last 5 years and BD/due diligence exposure.
• Regulatory: Familiarity with PETRONAS/MPM project maturation and approvals.

Responsabilités

• Evaluate farm-ins, asset acquisitions, bid rounds and near-field opportunities using seismic, well, and production data.
• Establish regional structural/stratigraphic frameworks, play concepts, and subsurface cases for economic screening.
• Deliver data-room assessments, bid-strategy inputs, work scopes and technical recommendations for bid/no-bid decisions.
