Job summary

Fugro Malaysia Marine is seeking an experienced Senior Geophysicist to join our team. The Geophysicist (Remote Operations) will QC geophysical data during acquisition and interpret survey data in line with procedures and work instructions.

The role involves coordinating with offshore teams, client representatives, and technical leads to ensure project delivery and high-quality results across multiple geophysical disciplines.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree or higher in Geoscience (Geology or Geophysics).
Experience in offshore survey environments.
Proficiency with geophysical interpretation and data processing tools.
Programming skills (e.g., Python) would be advantageous.
Excellent written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

Quality control of geophysical data during acquisition and processing.
Interpretation of geophysical survey data and reporting.
Coordinate with offshore teams and clients for project delivery.
Develop improvements to methods and quality systems.
Support tenders with technical input and ensure documentation compliance.
