Confidential seeks an experienced Resident Geologist to support geological supervision for powerhouse foundations, underground structures and major civil works on a hydropower project in Pahang, Malaysia. The role focuses on excavation conditions, rock quality and foundation performance.

The candidate should hold a Bachelor's Degree in Geology or related field with 10+ years of relevant experience, including hydropower or large infrastructure projects, and knowledge of geological mapping and

Minimum 10 years of relevant experience.
Experience in hydropower projects, underground structures, industrial facilities, or large infrastructure projects.
Strong understanding of geological mapping and rock mechanics.
Experience working on construction sites.

Aufgaben

Monitor geological conditions affecting powerhouse construction.
Review excavation observations and geological records.
Assess rock mass quality and foundation conditions.
Support evaluation of foundation treatment and stabilization measures.
Coordinate with civil and geotechnical teams.
Participate in inspections and site investigations.
Identify geological risks and recommend mitigation measures.
Prepare technical reports and geological assessments.
