OVERVIEW:

We are seeking an experienced Resident Geologist to support the supervision and monitoring of geological conditions associated with dam construction works for a major hydropower project.

The successful candidate will provide geological expertise throughout construction activities and support assessment of ground conditions, foundation treatment, excavation works, and geotechnical risks.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Monitor geological conditions encountered during dam construction.
• Review geological mapping, excavation records, and foundation treatment activities.
• Assess rock mass conditions and identify geological risks.
• Verify compliance of excavation and foundation works with project requirements.
• Coordinate with civil engineers, geotechnical engineers, contractors, and project stakeholders.

REQUIREMENTS
