Job summary

AlwaysHired Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Full Sets Accountant for the Johor Bahru Mount Austin area. The role covers bank and vendor reconciliations, postings to the GL, and closing activities on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.

You will handle payroll, ensure statutory compliance, and respond to accounting queries while maintaining accurate records. A degree in accountancy with 3–5 years in practice or industry is preferred; knowledge of Xero is a plus.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess Professional Certificate/ Bachelor's Degree / Post Graduate Diploma / Professional Degree in Accountancy or equivalent.
• Minimum 3-5 years of working experience in related field and preferred with experience in - maintaining full sets of accounts and in an accounting firm.
• Knowledge of Xero is an added advantage.
• Possess good accounting knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Reconciling bank and vendor accounts and balancing the general ledger.
• Posting to the general ledger and processing payments.
• Compiling monthly, quarterly, or yearly closings.
• Resolving accounting queries and addressing client portfolio issues.
• Verifying accuracy, completeness, and consistency of accounting information.
• Preparing reports on P&L, Balance Sheet, Bank Reconciliation, and other schedules.
• Handling monthly payroll services and CPF submission where required.
• Ensuring clients' statutory obligations are met.
• Other ad hoc tasks assigned by management.
