Job summary

OrgScale Recruitment Sdn Bhd is assisting a client in Batu Pahat, Johor to hire an Accountant responsible for the full set of accounts, including AP, AR, GL and bank reconciliations. You will prepare accurate records, perform daily entries, and support monthly closings.

The role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong Excel and accounting software skills, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with the team. Immediate availability is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• 5 years of full-set accounting experience is advantageous.
• Proficient in AutoCount, SQL Accounting, Word and Excel.
• Strong attention to detail with high accuracy.
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills; able to work independently.
• Able to collaborate as a team player.
• Immediate availability or short notice preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle full set of accounts (AP, AR, GL, bank rec).
• Prepare and maintain accurate accounting records and reports.
• Perform daily accounting transactions and timely entries.
• Assist with monthly closing, financial reporting, and reconciliations.
• Manage invoicing, payments, and receipts.
• Ensure proper documentation for audits and compliance.
• Liaise with internal teams, clients, suppliers on accounting matters.
• Identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
• Support ad-hoc finance tasks as needed.
