Job summary

Elitez Pte Ltd in Johor Bahru, Malaysia, seeks a Senior Accounts Executive to join the team and oversee the full set of accounts, month-end closing, financial reporting, taxation and statutory compliance. You will collaborate with management, auditors, tax agents, vendors and customers to ensure accurate financial operations.

The ideal candidate has a diploma or degree in accounting/finance and 3–5 years of relevant experience, with strong Excel and accounting software skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in accounting, finance or related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience with full set of accounts preferred.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, taxation and accounting principles.
• Experience with AutoCount, Xero, QuickBooks or ERP systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Detail-oriented, organized and able to work independently.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Handle the full set of accounts including GL, AP, AR and bank reconciliation.
• Perform daily sales reconciliation by matching cash/coin counts and POS reports.
• Investigate and resolve cash discrepancies or variances.
• Handle month-end closing with reconciliations, accruals and adjustments.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Prepare and analyse P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow reports for management.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents and company secretary.
• Ensure timely tax filings, e-Invoicing, SST and other statutory requirements.
• Monitor internal controls and identify process improvement opportunities.
