Job summary

AlwaysHired Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Full Sets Accountant for the Johor Bahru Mount Austin area. The role covers bank and vendor reconciliations, postings to the GL, and closing activities on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.

You will handle payroll, ensure statutory compliance, and respond to accounting queries while maintaining accurate records. A degree in accountancy with 3–5 years in practice or industry is preferred; knowledge of Xero is a plus.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess Professional Certificate/ Bachelor's Degree / Post Graduate Diploma / Professional Degree in Accountancy or equivalent.
• Minimum 3-5 years of working experience in related field and preferred with experience in - maintaining full sets of accounts and in an accounting firm.
• Knowledge of Xero is an added advantage.
• Possess good accounting knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Reconciling bank and vendor accounts and balancing the general ledger.
• Posting to the general ledger and processing payments.
• Compiling monthly, quarterly, or yearly closings.
• Resolving accounting queries and addressing client portfolio issues.
• Verifying accuracy, completeness, and consistency of accounting information.
• Preparing reports on P&L, Balance Sheet, Bank Reconciliation, and other schedules.
• Handling monthly payroll services and CPF submission where required.
• Ensuring clients' statutory obligations are met.
• Other ad hoc tasks assigned by management.

Full Sets Accountant (Johor Bahru - Mount Austin)

Reconciling bank and vendor accounts, posting to and balancing the general ledger, processing payments, and compiling segments of monthly or quarterly or yearly closings.

Resolving accounting queries and addressing issues that arise from client portfolios.

Verifying the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of accounting information received.

Preparing yearly, quarterly or monthly reports on Profit & Loss (P&L), Balance Sheet (BS), Bank Reconciliation, and other supporting schedules in accordance with the Company’s accounting policies.

Handling monthly payroll services and CPF submission whenever it's required.

Ensuring clients' compliance with all statutory obligations.

Any other ad hoc tasks assigned by management from time to time.

Requirements:
