Job summary

Generali Insurance Malaysia Berhad seeks a seasoned Franchise Leadership executive to drive the overall franchise strategy, operations, and performance. You will lead business development, partner recruitment, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver exceptional customer and partner experiences.

You will oversee execution of campaigns, ensure regulatory compliance, and foster a high-performance culture through coaching and capability building across the franchise network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Insurance, Economics, or related discipline.
• 8-10 years of experience in sales, franchise, agency, dealer network, or distribution management.
• Proven track record in driving business growth, profitability, and partnerships.
• Professional insurance certification (MII, ANZIIF, ACII or equivalent) is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, strategic partnerships, and distribution channels to expand the franchise footprint.
• Lead franchise recruitment and partner onboarding to support expansion.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to design campaigns, promotions, and value propositions
• Drive operational efficiency and service improvements across the franchise ecosystem.
• Work with Underwriting, Claims, Operations, Finance, and Compliance to resolve issues and ensure service delivery
• Ensure franchise operations comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies
• Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to the franchise team to foster high performance
• Foster employee engagement, capability building, and continuous learning within the franchise organization
• Act as liaison between franchise partners and internal functions for alignment and issue resolution
• Present business performance and growth opportunities to senior management
