Efinix Technology (M) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an experienced Post-Silicon Characterization Engineer to lead silicon characterization for FPGA products in Penang.

You will drive projects from plan and bring-up through PVT testing, data analysis, debugging, and closure, collaborating with Design, Software, Applications, and Quality teams. The role requires strong hands-on lab skills, and you will mentor junior engineers while coordinating with multiple internal and external stakeholders to ensure

Qualifications

• Over 15 years in FPGA post-silicon validation or characterization.
• Experience with high-speed interfaces or memory protocols (PCIe, DDR, MIPI, Ethernet).
• Hands-on lab equipment experience and automated data collection using scripting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute post-silicon characterization plans for PVT.
• Lead characterization projects from silicon checkout to final report.
• Characterize high-speed FPGA interfaces (PCIe Gen5, 25G Ethernet, LPDDR5/5x).
• Perform eye diagram, jitter, BER, and link-margin testing.
• Debug silicon, RTL, firmware, board, and test-setup issues.
• Correlate bench results with simulations and product specs.
