Job summary

AMD is seeking a Senior Product Characterization Engineer in Penang, Malaysia to evaluate performance of Adaptive SoC and FPGA products. You will plan, develop and execute tests with designers to ensure silicon performance aligns with datasheet targets, and implement FPGA-based characterization patterns to resolve issues.

You will lead ATE testing, analyze results, and drive automation while mentoring junior engineers and coordinating with stakeholders across continents.

Qualifications

• BS in EE, CS, ECE or related field; MS preferred.
• Experience in digital design and verification is highly desired.
• Proficiency in pattern development or analysis on Functional Characterization and testing.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop functional tests for measuring performance of Digital IPs and Memory PHYs.
• Develop RTL test designs and firmware to validate IPs.
• Conduct multi-parameter testing across process, voltage and temperature variants.
